Shortcut icon on taskbar/desktop is not displaying correctly

Sometimes the CabMaster application icon displays in the incorrect colour which, if you have more than one CabMaster Software™ application, can be confusing as a shortcut.

The process is simple and the same for either the taskbar or desktop shortcut.

1. Right click on the taskbar shortcut or the desktop shortcut;
   • right click on the application name e.g. CabMaster;
   • click on the Properties option from the provided menu.

     

     The taskbar in this example shows six CabMaster Software™ products with the correct icons.

     The following example shows the desktop icon for CabMaster. The same process applies, the menu just has more options.

2. Then on the presented properties sheet, click on the Change Icon... button;
   • locate the correct icon required and select
   • close all property sheets (i.e. click OK and Apply)

     

The icons should now display correctly.
