Clearing the Print Spooler

Sometimes the Print Queue will be halted by an error and the Print Spooler needs to be cleared.
This is a Windows / Printer issue, not a ™ or issue.
Clear without Computer Restart
To clear the spool without restarting the computer...
- hold down the Windows Key
and press 'R' to bring up the Run dialog;
- then in the edit box (as shown), type in 'services.msc' and click 'OK'.

- This will open the Services window (as scroll down the list until you find the shown)
- scroll down the list until you find the 'Print Spooler' service;
- right click and select 'Stop' from the menu.

- Leave the Services window open and ...
- again hold down the Windows Key
and press 'R' to bring up the Run dialog;
- then type in the edit box as highlighted in the image below and click 'OK'
- This will open up Windows Explorer and
- select ALL the files in the 'printers' folder i.e. Ctrl + A;
- press the 'Delete' key i.e. this will delete all of the files selected.

Test Print
Test print something and if the issue happens again, the printer and the PC may need to be restarted.
