    Machining Reverse Side of Divisions
    In This Topic

Sometimes divisions will have shelves on both sides, which would require the shelf holes to be drilled right through the division, otherwise the part would have to be re-machined for the holes on the reverse side.

CabMaster already has an option to allow the holes on the reverse side to be 'drilled through' the division part (allowing all machining to be done in one face). For example, if a shelf attaches to the opposite face of the division to that being machined, then the holes for it are machined and go all the way through the part.

The DXFs will be output into a separate subfolder within the material for the job. The name of this subfolder is the same as for the front face of the division except with “-Opp” appended to it. For example, if the division is in a folder called “Carcass White” then the machining for the reverse faces will be in “Carcass White-Opp”.

However, if this option is not used, it will automatically output the machining for the reverse side into a separate DXF file.
