Setup DropBox for CabMaster

If you want to run a synchronized file system with CabMaster Software, we recommend DropBox as the easiest option to use as it has no permission issues with files and folders.

Install DropBox

First, you must install DropBox into a common location.

Make sure this is NOT a computer specific location like C:\Users\ABC1322 as this path will most likely not exist on another computer.

Install to a folder like: C:\SharedFiles\DropBox

Then you can copy multiple versions of CabMaster Software to run from within this folder.

It is recommended installing CabMaster Software to a local folder.

Example: C:\AllMasterSoftware\CabMasterProV11.1\
Then changing the required paths to the DropBox folder.

DropBox on Other Computers

Install DropBox to the exact same location on each computer, for example, C:\SharedFiles\DropBox

Then install CabMaster Software to the local folder and change the paths as required to the new DropBox location.
