External friendly files (for FormEditor, ShowFriendlyPages) use the qiqx format which is XML-compatible.

The Exernal Files dialog provides a file management interface to simplify management of these files from within the application, allowing you to open external qiqx files and use the Friendly Page Editor tools to edit them with a graphical user interface.

There are buttons to update the list of external friendly pages, allowing you to browse to locate new qiqx files to add to the list, or to remove existing ones from the list, and of course to use the Friendly Page Editor to edit the selected External Friendly File.
