In the unlikely event that you have problems installing the program or viewing the videos provided on your CD, check if any of these suggestions help.
- Installer Doesn't Start Automatically - Normally when you insert the CabMasterPro install CD into your CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive, the install program starts by itself within a few seconds. If this doesn't happen, open "My Computer" from your desktop and double-click the icon of your CD drive. If still nothing happens, run "launch.exe" from the CD manually. For possible causes and solutions to this problem, see the FAQ called Autoplay Doesn't Work.
- Can't Start Installer From CD - If you ever need to install the program manually from the CD, browse the CD using My Computer or Windows Explorer and navigate to the Install folder (e.g. "D:\Install"). You should find a program in there called "Setup" which you can double-click to start the installation.
- No Sound in Videos - This may be caused by a simple problem like not having your speakers plugged into the correct audio jack, or not having the volume turned up. Check the volume by clicking the little speaker icon in your system tray (on the lower right hand corner of your screen). To open a dialog with more advanced sound control, double click that icon. Make sure none of the "Mute" checkboxes are filled. If you can't get sound to work in any program, check your sound card is properly installed and set up.
- Image Colours Look Incorrect - You may have your video card set to display a low number of colours, resulting in poor image quality. For directions on how to check and fix this, see the section on Display Settings.
