This dialog allows you to start a drawing with various items and options preset. You can also take an existing drawing and change it to a different template. For example, templates let you predefine a company logo, default door styles and kickboard heights. See the
Templates Tutorial for more information.
A template is typically applied when starting a new drawing, if the
Apply template dialog option is turned on. You can, however, apply a template at any stage and can even apply several templates to one drawing from the
File menu > Prepare > Apply Templates.
This is the list from which you select which template you wish to use. This list is created from all the files of type ".QIT" in the Templates folder. Select the appropriate template by clicking its name in the list.
If you include more than one template into the same drawing, it is possible for both templates to attempt to set the same variables to different values. These options allow you to select what action CabMasterPro is to take.
- Ask which one to use on a case-by-case basis
- Use the new value from the template
- Keep the value from the drawing
Clicking the OK button will result in the current template being applied to your drawing.
If you click cancel, the dialog will be closed with no template applied.
