Default image options for the cabinet picker and libraries are set up in the Options > File Images. In certain situations, you may wish to use a different image type or provide custom images for a specific cabinet.

Overriding image type

If a cabinet has a value specified for the _ImageDrawType property, then this draw type will be used for that cabinet when regenerating the images. Valid values are any of the types available in the Options page as default types.

Providing custom images

In certain situations, you may wish to override the images entirely, providing images generated externally.

To achieve this, the images must be placed in a folder within the Libraries folder. If you want to use the same image for both the Cabinet Picker and the Cabinet Gallery, and have the application scale it to fit the different sizes, then create a new subfolder within the Libraries folder named after the library. An image file in this folder named after the cabinet code will be used for both the Picker and Gallery. For instance, with default locations, a file named C:\AllMasterSoftware\CabMasterPro\CM-Kitchen\Cabinet1.png C:\AllMasterSoftware\CabMasterPro\CM-Cabinets\Cabinet1.png will be used for the cabinet called "Cabinet1" in the library CM-Cabinets.

For greater control over image appearance, you may wish to supply different prepared images for each of the different sizes used in the application, for the Cabinet Picker, the main section of the Cabinet Gallery, and the tooltip when hovering over the cabinet in the Gallery. In this case, the images should be placed in further subfolders, named CabinetPicker, GalleryMain and GalleryTooltip respectively.
