Automation scripts

Preset sequences of automation steps can be saved and loaded from the Automation Server dialog. These sequences are stored in files with the extension ".qas". This allows common sets of tasks to be more simply scheduled and run.

Quick Automation buttons

With some extra configuration, these scripts can be set up to be triggered by a single button press. Quick Automation buttons will be created on program start if they are defined in an XML configuration file, located within the Programs directory and named "CabMasterProPreferences.xml".

The file should be based on the format below:


Paths to the automation scripts are defined relative to the Reports directory. The buttons will appear in a new submenu in the Reports section of the ribbon (see File menu)

Quick automation buttons are especially useful when used in conjunction with the see Quick Access toolbar, for single-click automation of common tasks.
