Does my video card support 3D acceleration?

Graphic Card and PerformanceCabMasterPro uses a popular graphics interface called
OpenGL , which is used to accelerate the drawing of 2D and 3D images. Accelerated video cards speed up 3D rendering by doing some of the calculations themselves, as opposed to software rendering where the CPU does all the work.
This means that to use the 3D acceleration features of CabMasterPro effectively, your video card must support OpenGL. To find out whether your card supports it, check the documentation that came with your card, or the website of the card or chipset manufacturer. A list of the most common chipset manufacturers is provided below. You should always have the latest drivers for your graphics card, either from the card maker or the chipset manufacturer. The easiest way to get these is to visit
GLSetup , which will automatically detect your card and download the latest drivers for it.

If you have a graphics card with support for OpenGL and are still getting poor performance or not very smooth images, it may be a driver related issue. View the FAQ for Configuring Graphics Drivers. CabMasterPro has advanced 3D support based on OpenGL hardware acceleration, but this requires graphics drivers to be available for your hardware and to be configured correctly.

You can get information concerning your currently installed 3D Hardware Accelerator by using the 3D card information button on the [F10] Options > General page. You must change to 3D view at least once to see this information.
