Jobman is an external software company that Manages and Tracks workflow [ https://jobman.com.au/ ]

Customers can export their cabinets and/or hardware from CabMaster software to populate the Jobman database.

You can run a report on all the cabinets in the library from the My Extensions category of the Catalog Properties accessed in the Library Catalog Manager.

This is only possible in CabMasterPro Version 11.0.0.171 or higher.

Install and Setup

Download Jobman

Click here to download the zipped components.

Extract the contents of the zip into a TEMP folder.
- The destination of the extract files is a matter of choice - in the example C:\Temp is used.

Install into CabMaster

Open CabMaster to find the location of the program...
- From the File menu select Options > File Locations page [F10]
- Note the Programs location, as shown, to use in the next step.
  
  File > Options > File Locations page - Click to Expand

Copy the Library and Report folders of the "Temp" folder into the CabMaster program folder location.
- Do not copy the Table folder - see next step.

Open <your temp folder>\Table\Plugins\PlugIn.qlt as shown.
- Copy the row that contains the [Plugin1]
- See Copy/Paste using Table Editor below.

The QIQ column refers to the location of a CabMaster pop up page (qiqx file) which is run when the button on the My Extensions > Plug-Ins page of the Drawing Properties is clicked - See Running JobMan Reports. This file is located relative to <your CabMaster folder>\Library\ folder.

Locate <your CabMaster folder>\Table\Plugins\PlugIn.qlt
- Paste the copied row (from previous step) into the table - you will need to use an empty row or overwrite one you are not going to use.
  Maximum of ten (10) PlugIns are available to the system.

Save and exit the Table Editor.

To open the PlugIn Table Editor, simply double click on the QLT file.

To copy the row from <your temp folder>\Table\Plugins\PlugIn.qlt

select the row by clicking on the title "PlugIn1"
then from the Edit menu, select Copy (see image below)

To paste the row into <your CabMaster folder>\Table\Plugins\PlugIn.qlt

select the row you want to paste into (an empty row, as shown, or overwrite used one)
then from the Edit menu, select Paste

Running Jobman Reports

Restart CabMasterPro and go to the My Extensions > Plug-Ins page of the Drawing Properties.

You will find a new button called JobMan Export.

Click the JobMan Export button to open and the following dialog will be presented.

To run the report, simply choose one of the Export buttons i.e. under heading Cabinet List Export or Hardware List Export.
The Export folders can be altered but they need to exist first.

When you are setting up your Hardware items, you will want to provide a Brand and Part Number to each item you are going to use, as the report will use that detail.
