Overview

The Lookup Table Editor (QLT Editor) is used to view or modify text spreadsheet files used in CabMasterPro. QLTs, normally located in the Table folder of your nominated program folder can be edited in a general spreadsheet application, but the QLT Editor offers several features which are specific to QLT lookup tables.

Features include...

• copy/paste integration with other spreadsheet programs (such as Microsoft Excel);
• automatic row and column counts, and cell text quoting.

The Table Editor it is associated with QLT files, which means when you click on a lookup table or launch one from CabMasterPro, it will open in the editor by default - if this is not happening see Open Table Editor As Default.

Opening a Table

Existing lookup tables can be accessed from within CabMaster...

This example shows a lookup table (Customer Details.qlt) opened in the editor from the Drawing Properties using the supplied Table button.

or you can ...

1. Locate the relevant file
   • see File Locations [F10] and copy the address of the Lookup Tables and paste this into File Explorer (or My Computer).
2. Right click on the QLT file and select "Open with"
3. Select "TableEditor EXE"

Editing Tools

When you first open the editor, an empty lookup table is loaded. A new table starts off with two rows and two columns in the body of the table.

You can create an empty lookup table at any time by selecting "File > New".

Add new rows or columns by using the "Row > Add" and "Column > Add" commands.
