Display Cabinet ID

How do I enable the Cabinet ID in Elevation View?

1. Change the View to Elevation;
   • see discussion below if you want to change the cabinet ID labels while in Plan View;
     
     
2. Open the Elevation View Options by...
   • double clicking on a blank area of the page;
     or
   • use the ribbon command View Options;
     or
   • use the F9 keyboard shortcut;
     
     
3. Enable/tick the Show Labels option;

The Label Display type is set on the Visibilities page - click here to view

Select the required Label display type from the drop list, as shown.

Hide Cabinet Labels

How can I hide cabinet labels in Elevations only?

If you want to hide the cabinet labels on just elevations (without affecting Plan labels), then untick the default setting for the elevation specific Show Labels option. 

In this example, we are in Plan View, so the F9 keyboard shortcut will not open Elevation View Options.

• You need to select the Elevation and use the right click menu Format Elevation option, as shown.
