    Breadcrumbs Bar

    Breadcrumbs Bar within the title areas is used to quickly navigate your way around cabinets, parts and other items such as Callouts, Cameras and Elevations.

    Title Area Navigation

    The breadcrumb bar, as per the example below, displays the name of the data file and provides drop lists allowing you to navigate pages, cabinets and parts.

    Breadcrumb 1

    To return to page view simply click on the page name on the Title Bar.

    Data File Name

    The name of the currently opened Data file is displayed in the Title Bar.

    Pages

    The first drop list relates to the drawing page/s. It provides a quick way to:-

    Click to view Status Bar and Page tabs

    Click to view Status Bar and Page tabs

    These relate to the page tabs shown on the Status Bar (click on image to view) which can also be used to change pages etc.

    Cabinet Selection

    The second drop list relates to all cabinets/items placed (including Walls and Elevations) on the selected drawing page. This allows you to drill down to an individual cabinet/item by selecting from the list, as shown.

    When the cabinet/item has been selected, the command ribbon will change from Plan Tools to Current Item Editor. This will allow you to view/edit or annotate the selection in Plan or Elevation view.

    Click here to view the Current Item ( Floor 2 Door) in Elevation mode

    In Elevation you can view the cabinet/item from the Left/Front/Right and add annotations using the Current Item Editor in the same way as discussed in the Annotating the Elevation Tutorial.

    Part Selection

    The third drop list relates to all parts for a selected cabinet, allowing you to drill down to the individual parts for machining by selecting from the list, as shown.

    When the part has been selected, the command ribbon will change from Current Item Editor to Machining Editor. This will allow you to view/edit the selected part.
