This section discusses various CabMasterPro addons or helper applications.
- Automation Server - The Automation Server is an integrated application which provides remote printing and processing services for CabMasterPro. Sometimes complex reports can take many minutes to generate, tying up a developer and their computer until the report has printed - the Automation Server allows you to send a print job to another machine on the local network, which will then queue them with jobs from other designers and process them independently from the requesting client. This means a designer can return to work immediately without waiting for extended periods when they wish to create a set of reports. The Automation Server can also handle plan and 3D views of a drawing.
- DropBox - If you want to run a synchronized file system with CabMaster Software, we recommend DropBox as the easiest option to use as it has no permission issues with files and folders.
- Export Editor - Another app for library editors, the Export Editor allows you to make mass changes to a library by filtering out and modifying specific lines in an ASCII Export file. This functionality has been migrated into the advanced searching tools of the Tab Explorer, but this application is still provided.
- Friendly Page Editor - This is available only with Developer. The friendly page editor is designed to allow users to quickly generate a friendly page through a drag and drop interface.
- Form Editor - The Form Editor application is designed to allow easier editing of QLT files through a customizable qiq interface (Which can be created in the friendly page editor application).
- JobMan - Jobman is an external software company that Manages and Tracks workflow. Customers can export their cabinets and/or hardware from software to populate the Jobman database.
- Lookup Table Editor - This is a basic table editing utility that understands and maintains the integrity of the tables. Used especially within DoorMaster to edit price tables. The Lookup Table Editor is a spreadsheet-type program for viewing and modifying Lookup Table (QLT) files. These tables are used extensively within CabMasterPro and the sample libraries, and the editor includes several QLT-specific features over a normal spreadsheet.
- Tab Explorer - This is a handy utility for library developers, as it allows you to browse the ASCII exported (tab) files from CabMasterPro in a familiar Windows Explorer-like manner. You can also easily search for any text in a library or drawing, and edit properties anywhere in them.
